Adam serves as counsel to Internet and technology start-ups, consultants, traditional retailers, and licensed businesses and professionals in regulated industries including real estate, insurance and healthcare.  He handles general corporate law matters, contracts, technology licensing, trademarks and litigation.  Adam has significant jury trial and administrative litigation experience.

Adam is a co-founder of iLawyer® which is the technology infrastructure provider selected by the American Bar Association to develop a national network of bar association lawyer referral services on the Internet.  An article about iLawyer appeared in the February edition of the the American Bar Association Journal at www.abanet.org/journal/feb01/alede.html.  

In 1998, Adam co-founded and served as General Counsel for ifan, Inc., a provider of affinity e-mail selected by the San Francisco Giants, San Jose Sharks, Anaheim Angels and Mighty Ducks, Chicago Cubs and New York Mets.  ifan was acquired by Mail.com (formerly Nasdaq: MAIL, now Nasdaq: EASY) in December 1999.  

In 1996, Adam served as General Counsel on the founding team of Webtronics, a Japanese--U.S. start-up that developed, prototyped and licensed the first firmware web server appliance.

Prior to founding the firm, Adam was an associate with the San Francisco law firm of Dobbs, Berger, Vannelli, Nadel & Links.  Prior to that, he was a trial attorney with the Los Angeles County Public Defender's Office.

Adam graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1985 and the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 1988.

Adam is a member of the State Bar of California, the Bar Association of San Francisco and the American Bar Association.  Prior to co-founding iLawyer in 1999, Adam served on the Committee which oversees the Lawyer Referral Service of the Bar Association of San Francisco.
